The Boot Pro, is a first generation, family-owned, full-service ski and bike shop located in Ludlow, Vermont. Established in 2008 by owners, Alex and Shon Racicot on the corner of the Okemo Access Rd; the Boot Pro was founded on the importance of well-fitting ski boots and superior customer service.
The Boot Pro received the 1st Generation Family Enterprise Award at the 2023 Vermont Legacy and Family Enterprise Award ceremony at The University of Vermont.
Shon Racicot Master Bootfitter, Owner
Shon, a lifetime resident of Ludlow, ski racer and mountain enthusiast, has been passionate about finding the perfect fit since his start in the industry in 1985. After working in all aspects of ski retail and service, he went on to become a master bootfitter, as well as store manager. He’s become renowned in the ski industry for his professionalism and expertise. A 16 time graduate of the MasterFit University with an eye for detail, and countless hours of experience, Shon assures customers the perfect combination of performance and comfort.
Alex Racicot Mastermind, Owner
Alex, is an alumni from UVM’s School of Arts & Sciences, and veteran ski instructor, having taught at Sugarbush, Portillo Chile, Mt. Ascutney and Magic Mountain. Today, Alex administers all of the assets of The Boot Pro. You’ll even find her helping out on the sales floor! She twice completed Masterfit U’s Masters course in boot fitting.
Haley & Luke Racicot Daughter & Son
Haley, and Luke, have always worked together as a family at The Boot Pro which they consider a blessing and their second home. Haley & Luke Racicot are both potential future bootfitters and are avid skiers like their parents!
